Well, so I did it. I tied my own frenulum.
For a few years I wanted to get my frenulum cut, because of not being able to pull my foreskin back to a point where it’s flat without getting a bent head. I as many others despise going to the doctor, especially with something like this, and so I have been thinking a lot about cutting it myself.
After a lot of research, I decided that tying it up was the best option (either if I so did go to the doctor or not). And yesterday, I decided that I would do it today after my parents left for work. I was rather nervous, I didn’t realy think I would do it, but was confident that if my brother could pirce his lip by himself at 14, I could do this. After all, it is a much thinner needle.
So I found a sowing needle, some regular colorless woolen thread, a flashlight, some Ice cubes, and a shot of DryGin. I went to the bathroom and took a deep breth, and went for it. I put the thread through the needle hole and put it in the glass of Gin. I cleaned my penis thurow, and iced down the frenulum. Pointed the flashlight straight at it, got the needle and located a got spot before I pushed hard.
Nothing happened. I did feel the needle beforehand, and even thru it was new from the pack, it was rather dull. I also read beforehand that the frenulum skin is quite strong, but I was not gona turn back now. I put some force on it and got it thru. At this point I was a little shocked that I actually did it, so with a needle in my penis, I took a deep breath. I was also rather supprised that up untill now, there had been no pain.. I then pulled the needle all the way and up till the point there was only one string in the hole, this action burned a little, but still, not worse then eating spicy food.
Now it went up for my what I had done, I pulled the needle of the thread, and though the gentle tugging did not hurt, it did upset me. So I had to lie down for a while. When I got a breath, I just bent my back so that my man would stay frenulum up, and I tied a knot. How tight I was suppose to tie it I was not sure, but I did find a natural stopping point. Looking back, I think I should have gone tighter, but time will tell if it was enough. After tying a second knot I found a pair of sicssors and cut the strings short. I cleaned up everything and got a small bowl that I filled with warm water I put my man in there (I read that this should be done every day for 10-15 minuts untill the string cuts through and falls off).
It’s about an hour later now, and I have no pain at all. They say there will be some pain the first night.. I guess we will see. But let’s sum up with a few tips:
-Sowing needles are dull, but try to find a sharp one.
-The frenulum skin is strong, be prepared.
-Have a glove or a towel to hold the ice cube, you don’t want numb fingers.
-Twist your penis the way that feels the most natural.
-Have enough light.
Also, people say that cutting your frenulum is bloody business. I have never read this about tying it up and can confirm that there was not a single drop of blood to see, and the pain was minimal.
I will report any events along the way up until the point where the string (hopefully) falls off.

Im 13 should I do this procedure with the needle and thread or should I wait untill Im done puberty. I just want to get rid of it because it’s embarrassing and I don’t want to tell a doctor or my family
I would say wait or go to a doctor. Keep in mind that there is also the option to stretch it, if you have a little patience. Im sure you don’t mind pulling on your penis for a few minutes a day. 😛 Also, don’t be embarrassed to go to the doctor about this. I get it, but if I’ve learned one thing from the reception of this blog it is that this is a common problem.
Because of this website, I went ahead and tied my own frenulum. I’ll share my experience and hopefully it helps some of you. I tied it twice: once in June 2015 and once in Dec 2015.
First, some background. I have been doing penis enlargement (PE) for several years now, and while my penis grew, my frenulum did not. The negative effects were sharp pain during sex and a slightly tilted-down head during erection. I did some research and my options were either frenulum stretching or tying it. I figured tying it would be faster.
For both of my ties, I used fishing line and a sewing needle. That’s all. I threaded the line through the eye of the sewing needle, then pierced through the frenulum. There wasn’t any pain. Now it was time to tie it. This hurt quite a bit. I tied it with a surgeon’s knot and pulled it as hard as I could. This gave me a sharp stinging pain. I tightened it many many times. I pulled it probably 20 times. Then I just let it sit.
There was a dull pain for the first few days, and then no pain at all. It took about 10 days for my tie to fall out. It doesn’t hurt at all when it falls out.
My second tie ran in to some complications. It didn’t cut all the way through, so after about 8 days, I started to get intense pain again. I carefully cut the old string and tied a new one. Again, there was stinging pain when I tightened the knot. I just clenched my teeth and pulled it tight several times. The tie fell out in 2 days, pain free.
After the tie falls out, the wounds heal up in a week or two. After the wounds heal, the skin there is still tender and sensitive. After a 4-6 weeks, it all goes back to normal.
Now, I get no pain during sex and my glans doesn’t tilt down at all during erection anymore. My foreskin also has so much more extra range of motion than before!!
Some extra info:
1. I used to get tension at the frenulum when using my penis pump. Sometimes it was painful, and I would have to stop. I don’t get any of these problems anymore. I also think my frenulum may have been limiting some of my length gains, since I seem to be filling more of the length of the tube now than I was before.
2. On the first few days of the tie, I stopped all PE. However after 4-5 days when there was no more pain, I started to clamp again. I tried stretching, but it’s hard to get a good grip on it without aggravating the tied area. I started pumping and stretching again after ~6 weeks.
3. I had no problems with exercise, as long as I wore tight underwear during my workouts.
Overall, I’d give this procedure a 10/10. I’m super happy with the results, and it didn’t inconvenience my life that much. It’s a simple DIY solution for those of us with tight frenulums.
I tied my frenulum about 2 years ago now and wonder why I had not done it years ago. Beforehand my tight frenulum meant that whenever I had an erection my glans would point down quite sharply, but at least it was not painful. After I tied it and the frenulum was cut through – about 8 days – my glans now sits proudly atop my penis and I feel like I have 2 more inches of foreskin! The best decision I ever made.
The process itself was pain free for me for the whole time with the exception of inserting the needle in initially. If I were to give anyone a tip it would be to try not to get an erection whilst doing the operation as it’s much easier to accomplish in the flaccid state. Easier said than done though when you are manhandling your penis!
Now if anyone has any suggestions on how to widen the opening of my foreskin it would be appreciated. I have always wanted to get someone else’s glans in there but alas it’s too tight.

I have a question for you, I did tie my frenulum starting just under the head shaft. It was a success, no complications. Yet, I have a long, ugly, bulging, flabby frenulum left behind and what is more there is at least 3 mm vein going through below it. Somebody somewhere in this blog mentioned that it was the reason for premature ejaculation and cutting frenulum out of the way.
So, did you have any kind of issue like that vein underneath? I don’t want to damage and cause unwanted circumstances overall.

I wish I had done it sooner! About ten years ago I pierced my frenulum, and then started wearing a series of rings: started with the usual small gold ring, and then gradually built up to one which was 12 mm gauge and 3 cm diameter: caused a lot of interest on the beach!
Anyway,I was wandering along the cliffs in the sunshine last year, when i decided that I would add a second piercing for another ring: the two would then knock together as I walked! Two weeks later, did another one……one hole grew into the other, so that there were just two small bits of skin between them. I don’t think it makes much of a difference. The string will cut through either way.
Hi Kevin, having tied my own frenulum a number of time, so that I am able to retract my foreskin fully down the shaft of my penis. I aM really pleased with the results. Congratulations on having tied your own, this is the now the frustrating part having to wait. Don’t be in a rush to attain your goal, I can assure you the wait is well worth the results achieved. With regard to your question if you normally have your foreskin forward then do that. In fact I would say that is the best option, having your exposed frenulum chafing against your underware could cause the cutting site to become inflamed and more open to the risk of infection. I bathed mine every day with either antiseptic mouthwash or hydrogen peroxide 6% and then gave the thread a gentle tug. I am convinced that having a short frenulum was and is one major cause of premature ejaculation. My theory is that that the frenulum being very sensitive due to the thousands of nerve endings is not only stimulated due to friction on penetration, vaginally or anally, the resulting stretch of a tight frenulum will also over stimulate the nerves, making it extremely difficult to maintain control. I would be interested to hear from other guys who have found that tying their frenulum has resolved their premature ejaculation problems.

Hi Kevin, each time I tied my own frenulum I made no changes to my lifestyle, so I don’t see why it should stop you dancing with girls. I personally would not recommend engaging in sex as there is greater risk of infection but mainly you could risk tearing your frenulum. That is something you do not want, having tore mine in my youth, not only was it very painful but it blead a hell of a lot. At the end of the day only you can decide. Hope this helps

I made a hole through my frenulum and wore a ring in it for a few years, the hole stretched so I put a strong thread through it and tightened it, in 5 days the thread fell away and my head now pointed straight ahead, later I made another hole farther back, and deeper and wear a ring in it. I believe anyone can and should cut their frenulum., if it pulls the head downward

I tied mine last year just below head shaft, fyi; it’s trying to grow back, and before attempting 2nd round I have at least 3mm diameter blue blood vein going under where I target to tie, and kind of hold back right now. What do you think? Go ahead and tie that son of a gun and eventually let it die off or just do next to it. I have a really saggy, ugly frenulum and log way to rim. I will have to do 2-3 (maybe 4) ties.
I had pierced my frenulum and have a hole of 8m diameter. I want to tie my frenulum, so do I have to make two knots one on top and the other at the bottom? Because there is a free space of about 8 mm behind my frenulum .

Reading thru the articles, I find no comments on as to where to tie or any signs of unpleasant circumstances or complications. I tied as well: about 6mm from the glans and about 7 mm from the skin fold or the edge of folded skin. I tied with a cotton thread, soaked in alcohol. no pain, no blood, no trouble. after 7 days, however, the part of the skin by the glans swelled, and at the tie became painful. and that to the extent of unbearable pain. There was no vein caught in the knot.
Took a decision to tie mine using needle and fishing cord, it took exactly a week to separate and heal, I am delighted with the result it looks great, gained at least a cm in length and so much more sensitive, wish I had read this post sooner..😀

Slightly lower than centre I would say Pete. That is what I did several times I think 4 times in all Very pleased with the result. The important thing to remember is “patience” very few people succeed in getting the final result the first time. If you have to do it 4 times as I did you will be far happier with the results. Well I tied mine about two weeks ago (sewing needle and thread) and it still hasn’t broken… There is a visible hole and the other side of the frenulum is beggining to break as well, but I thought it was going to be more quick. I may have to tighten it or something, or maybe even change the thread and make a tighter knot with the new thread. I hope I get this over with asap hahaha

I did penetrated the needle through my frenulum in less than a minute, I’m surprised the its not very painful as I expected, the frenulum did really stiff and rubber, I have to use alot of strength to get through. so I tied as tight as I can as I feel the pain. I had a question, how long to I have to change the thread? Im afraid that I did not tied tight enough. I did feel abit pain after several minute, its pleasurable pain. Am I doing it right? For me it took 9 days before it cut through. If you feel like it isn’t tight enough you can do as I did and open the knot and try to re-tie it, though depending on the string you used that could be quite a challenge.

I can remember some slight stinging every once in a while, but not sure I would call it pain.. May just boil down to you being more sensitive. I mostly kept the foreskin over it, but if you have pain you may want to keep it out or at least make sure you clean under there a few times a day.
Hi there having achieved my desired results after four tyings i would say everything appears to be going smoothly for you. If you tied it really tight to cause pain and discomfort then it sounds as though you had enough tension. I used nylon sewing thread which has elastic properties for each of my tyings. This allowed the stitch to contract as it cut through the frenulum. Mine would sting from time to time but this was a result of the stitch cutting further through my frenulum. I use to bathe mine twice a day with antiseptic mouthwash and then give the not a gentle tug. I also kept it covered with my foreskin to stop it chaffing on my underwear. I have no doubts you will be pleased how neat the results will be. As i said it took four tyings before i achieved my desired result but was well worth the effort and patience.Hope this helps

The most difficult and whole essence of this tecnhnique is patience. From what you describe it soumds as though your latest tying is progressing nicely so unless the knot is obviously loose then leave well alone and exercise patience, you will not be dissapointed with the final result.

There are a few operations on YouTube how they cut it just use your brain not being funny just pinched a fraenulum and go down a couple of millimetres make sure you have numbing cream because it does hurt and yes sewing thread is fine just make sure you have the right disinfectant and use Betadine
Where do you put the second tie? Oh and what angle are you supposed to tie the knot? vertical on the frenulum or horizontal on the frenuluml. Im assuming horizontal? just dont want a little flappy patch of remaining skin between my ties. Or how did anyone else deal with theirs? What happens to flappy dead skin? Cheers

I did mine only took four days the first time and the second time just to finish off a little bit more as it’s not good to do too much at once the second time took two weeks as I went a little bit far down meaning the first time I did it I pinched the frenulum and Put the needle in about 3 mm down and the second time I did 5 to 6 mm down and that was too far just took longer to heal but the second time Was an open wound I should’ve got stitches but keeping it very clean and disinfecting it heal by its self. Overall it’s the best thing I’ve ever done I’m so happy I’ve done it it feels amazing more sensation and unbelievable sex
I should say the second time I think I went through a couple of veins and maybe the dorsal van but everything still works well The head of my penis does not get as big and throbbing as before which cause me pain now it looks normal I’m sure it would be different for everyone else but the second time I did it I did go a little far if you’re thinking of doing this you should seek a doctors advice but from my experience It was well worth it

I also tied mine tonight. Sharp quick pain as the needle comes out through the skin, but NO blood. Tied up a very tight knot. Tea tree oil liberally over the stich, hood back and now wait for the damned thing to break.

I tried the needle and thread half a year ago. Cooled it down with an icecube before i did it. Inserting the needle did not hurt but tieing the knot hurt like hell so i didnt dare too tie it tight enough… It had not come of in two weeks and i was kind of sore in that area so i again took an icecube an numbed the area and simply pulled the thread till the frenulum broke. After i heald up i thought it was still to tight. One night when i was really drunk i just cut the rest with a scissors. No icecube for numbning or anything. No pain at all and not much blood. So much nicer now when the glans doesnt bend townwards when i pull the foreskin back hard. And masturbation feels even better. And i last longer during intercourse. Pardon my english, swedish guy..

For sure, I cut my frenulum in 2 steps being about 20 years old. My frenulum as rather tight and caused some pain during masturbation and sex. I’m very satisfied with the results, even after some decades.
Update: Frenulum was cut through in 4 days, healed in under 1.5 weeks.
Note: I saw the knot has cut through but was still held on by something and stung a bit when I wiggled it. I left it as is and the next day it fell off by itself painlesly.
Also now I see I didn’t do quite a symmetrical cut, which in my case seems to be a problem as the foreskin is pulled back unevenly and the side that was cut more stings.
Conclusion: painless, effective, safe(?). Will do another one to soon to cut further so the skin can freely retract past the glans and turn insideout to expose the sensitive inner side.
PS I managed to post anonymously without log in last time, how did that work, can’t find an oiptionfor that.
14 days and the bloody suture is still in situ…..when I pull on it, the pain is worse than sticking the needle through. I’m afraid it’s gonna be there forever and the skin is gonna grow over it. When I tug on it….it bleeds (which it did not when I stuck needle in)….

Regarding the knot: mine didn’t bleed at all.
I didn’t go too deep and tied it so tight that I was feeling it even with the EMLA cream.
The key is as TIGHT as possible!
I assume if you tied deeper and/or looser then it will be more problematic and take longet to cut through.
From earlier posts someone managed to re-tie his know as it got too loose.

So it’s been 8 years now, since I tied off my frenulum, and I’m still so glad I did. This is my penis now:

For the last 3 months solid, and on and off over the last 3 years, increasing from 1 day, to 2, to a week, then 3 weeks, I’ve been working on (a) desensitising my glans, to be able to stay retracted without discomfort. Ive dine this with the aid of a rubber covering, which I bought online from lovehoney. They arrive in a 3-pack, a blue, a black and a clear. Althoigh they are all nominally the same size, I found that the blue was ideal because, lodged behind the coronal ridge, it actually permanently widened to the size I needed it to be, so as no to become painful over time, without going so slack as to move or fall off, but remaining tight enough to hold back my foreskin. Im currently trying out the tighter, black ring for ecstasy use, because (b) I want to develop the wider coronal ridge and move to that flared ‘mushroom’ head, which people who were circumcised in infancy often have. I want this for aesthetic reasons, also because it would keep my foreskin retracted without the need for cockrings, I also surmise that it might increase pleasurable sensations for my sexual partner.

Is there a preferred knot to use? I have just done this with the standard double knot (2 of the same basic knot that everyone knows)
This is my third time trying. I have always pierced the skin fine, hurts a bit, even with EMLA cream. I have found that the last two times, it simply was not tight enough, so I cut it and tried again.
This time my partner helped, I pierced and she tied it. The tightening was definitely the worst part. When the knot was done, I was in quite a bit of pain for about 30 seconds, and then it eased off.
I just want to make sure I’m using an appropriate knot so that we don’t need to do it again.
Use a surgeon’s knot instead. It’s like the first part of the double knot (an overhand knot), but you put an extra turn in. This provides extra friction so it doesn’t slip
The knot you are using is fine, with normal thread it becomes lose as it cuts through the tissue of the frenulum, which i found to be the case. I resolved this problem by using nylon sewing thread, this stretches as you pull it tight. Thus as it cuts through the tissue it remains tight due to the stretch in the nylon thread. its not the knot that is coming lose it’s just as it cuts through the tissue it automatically becomes slack. Also when inserting the needle if you place something like a drinking straw behind the frenulum it will hold it taught whilst the needle pierces through. That way it will be less painful. Few years ago, probably 6 or 7 I broke the top part of my frenulum during masturbation session and that was painful but pain didn’t last really long – hour? Two? Very few drops of blood, there was more stress than real pain as it’s obvious – part of your gems are in trouble. After that nothing happened but for all the years I noticed that my frenulum is too short, or at least, too short for my own judgement. So I knew I must do something and now is the time! I took two weeks of holiday and bought all things for this small surgery.
I prepared:
– surgical spirit for disinfection
– sudocream
– needle
– fishing line
– small sharp knife
– ice cubes
– sterile absorbent
– paracetamol
– plasters
I disinfected everything in boiling water then in surgical spirit. I put some ice on the frenulum but to be honest, that didn’t make big difference so I skipped that part, I cleaned my frenulum with surgical spirit and then it was time for two hardest bits – to hold dick, frenulum and needle and to make that cut.
First – put some light UNDER your dick so once frenulum is stretched you will see places without any veins and because I have two places like that with vein between I decided to put needle under the vein for a bigger cut.
I had to use few plasters and stick them around my dick to make it easier as having just two hands is really hard to hold the penis, hold stretched frenulum and hold the needle but after few tries I managed that. Take the needle, just touch frenulum with needle to see if you can manage that and then – GENTLY GO!
My frenulum didn’t make any resistance, needle went through like in paper and I felt shock and… pleasure 🙂 I’m not a pervert but this was something really special. Because I selected that “empty” place there was not a single blood drop. Just to be on the safe side I placed a bowl under to catch any bleeding. My last plan was to use really sharp knife to just cut the frenulum in a second but I think I’m not that brave. I will wait few days to see if the knot around frenulum did anything as there is a chance it will stay like that for weeks without any change.
I’m not afraid really if my penis will swell as I used to masturbate for whole day and for next two days my penis was double it’s normal size but the only thing I’m scared now are: infection, further pain or staying with tied frenulum forever without any change. I’m not really concerned about having reduced sexual sensations as I’m 30 years old virgin so I don’t really have anything to compare before-after except having maybe different wanking experience. Hi there, if you ride the fishing light tight then it will be fine, you just have to be patient and let things happen. I had no discomfort or pressure when I did my. I have done it 3 times now.the results are brilliant. Whatever you do do not attempt to cut it. It will bleed an aweful lot. The idea of tying is the you cut off the blood supply by crushing the veins to the tissue thus it dies and comes apart. If you cut it with a blade the veins will be open be very painful and bleed. That is why I used nylon thread as it keeps the pressure on as it cuts through the frenulm. This technique is all about patience. Feel free to get back to me for help and advice Good luck

It’s just 4 days after my “surgery” but I’m pretty sure I should make the hole in frenulum closer to the edge, tie top part, wait few days and do whole process in 2-3 steps.
I decided to do bigger cut and I think that was a mistake as I tied it 3 times really strong but overall structure of frenulum makes whole thing not tight enough so the top part has some pressure on it and it bends under the knot but not enough to disintegrate skin cells.
The only problem is I have difficulties in cutting the thread, I’m nearly sure I will cut some part of my frenulum too when releasing the first knot.
That was my first attempt to tie knot on my frenulum and I think it failed, I will repeat process in future but with some improvements regarding positioning of the needle cut.
Hi there, I would be tempted to leave things as they are for now if as you say took a large bite of the frenulm it will obviously take longer to cut through. I would estimate a week to ten days. It will be slowly cutting through from the outside in. As you say as it is if you try and cut the tread you may cut the frenulm as well which will be painful as a paper cut and also risk bleeding quite a lot. Just hang in there Keep me posted
I want to back smartalk20 up here and urge you to be patient. If you feel that its not tight enough i would attempt to open and retie the knot or just pull very carefully on the tread a few times a day. Please do not attempt to cut your frenulum.
Thanks all for replies! I managed to free my frenulum from the knot without any skin cut (I really need third hand as keeping penis, tweezzer and small scissors and handling everything in a very precise manner took about 20 minutes) but the I’d say overall progress in eliminating my skin cells made by knot is marginal. There is some reduction (not even a 1 mm) but hard to tell if it’s true reduction or just that cuticle part being wounded by fishing line.
I will see in better light tommorow. I’d say that chaning line for fresh one would be good anyway regarding true progress as I made small mistake at the begining putting some sudocream onto the knot so even keeping extreme hygiene rigor it was not freshest by the look.

Hi there I think it unlikely you have done any damage, the blood vessels in your frenulum are not the ones that cause you to have an erection. I think that may be due to the fact you may be stressing that you have done peppermint damage to yourself, which is not the case. Once you relax your erections will return to normal. There will be some numbness of the frenulum because nerves and blood vessels has been compressed with the tying which is what is suppose to happen. I am sure everything will be fine an you have nothing to worry about. Once everything has settled down again then you can retie it again when you are ready

Hi again, it’s time for my second attempt however it’s been one hour and a half trying to catch my frenulum properly, unfortunatelly it’s impossible to do that having just two hands and the spot between two veins is really small. If not that bloody covid19 I’d rather go to doctor and have a proper surgery.
Now I’m trying to position drinking straw as mentioned somewhere on this topic at the end of the torch light on my phone so the frenulum with all it’s veins will be well visible, but I must keep my skin on penis tight pulled down, hold the frenulum and by second hand stretch lower bit of frenulum. I need third hand, or preferably, fourth one.
I even tried to use existing hole on my frenulum to put a fishing line through and catch a keyboard but it makes whole frenulum stretched in wrong way.
I didn’t even put the needle close to my frenulum and I’m already exhausted 😦
There’s too much veins close to the edge so if I finally manage to put a needle through, it will be between first hole from month ago and the edge of frenulum, I think it’s still too big distance (2-3mm) to the edge of frenulum but closer there are too many veins which I want to avoid.
I was really close to take a knife and just cut it but I noticed that when frenulum is not stretched, the vein passing at the edge is too big to make it without bleeding.
But I know that this time I will keep the knot tied way longer than by first time, maybe to the end of the year. I hope by this time that part of frenulum will disapear but I know my luck, nothing will happen and my brain will not be able to last that long without masturbation. OK here’s a small update. I made the second cut! Placed exactly at the spot I wanted just between two veins (not a single blood drop). Damn, call me a pervert but this is so pleasant when needle is going into frenulum 😉
I think I could use bigger needle as there was enough space but I’m happy that the hole is made.
My way to do that cut was:
take a drinking straw and cut 4 small strips of plasters or glue tape and place the straw on the torch if your phone has one. Glue the strips to 4 sides of the straw and then to the phone so it will stay firmly. Then sit down and place mobile phone between your legs (so your legs and partially ass will keep it in good position) and measure the distance at which you will be able to place your penis (the normal straw is too long) and once the straw is cutted at preferable lenght, it will be something like a small table for frenulum with light flashing from under making a good view on all veins in your frenulum but bear in mind that your eyes will be exposed to direct lightbeam and they will be easily tired.
Painful bit is to keep stretched frenulum on the top of the straw and it’s also hard to keep it at the good position but you will manage that. It took well over 15 attempts for me but finally there was a chance to hold the needle and push it into my frenulum.
I did 3 knots at the exactly same spot as at my first attempt. I was thinking about just 1 knot but the first one was too loose, second too and I think third one is too loose too, I could not keep the knots really tight for some reason so probably I will wait forever having no results.
I will see in daylight how it looks but as long as I have the hole in the right place, I can re-thread if needed, but now is start of my DAY 0 and hopefully 9 days will be enough. If that part of my frenulum will go, then from new edge to the hole from previous attempt there will be maybe 2mm, however there is a vein between so I will have to tie another knot to “kill” that vein. But it will be really tempting to cut it with the sharp knife…
Nevermind, I hope my second try will give some results.

When tying the not instead of passing the thread once through the loop to make the knot pass it through twice it should hold tight why you get the second knot tied. Make sure you pull the first knot as tight as you can get it. It will sting and hurt but will ease in a few minutes. That is the main move first knot as tight as you can get it so it will cut through the frenulm within a week or less

Hi, there’s small update. I found the loops loose so I decided to start from the scratch…
However second time I used too thin needle so the perfect second cut gone, I could not find it so I decided to use the hole from first attempt which back then I noticed was too far from the edge of the frenulum. But this time I gave it a chance as I put much more tension in the loops.
Luckily the hole was big enough to pass the fishing line without any needle 3 times and there is still space for another pass. So now I have two loops tightened at the same spots of my frenulum passing in one hole in frenulum and on top of that 3 loops to make them tight, HOWEVER the fishing line has one big problem – it tend to flex and that creates problems as not only you cannot adjust the position of the loop correctly because it will bend in it’s own direction easily but once you make the loops tight, it’s going loose in a second. I will see how it goes with all my loops around frenulum but in case of ANOTHER fail, can I use just a regular sewing thread? I find it less hygienic as it can absorb all the mess from under the foreskin but maybe it will keep tension better?

OK, small update, just completed day 5.
There are I’d say big frenulum removal going from inside to outside and looking under the light, some of the blood vessels at the top (quite big vessels) stopped or are very much limited. Now there was no tension as the loops were too big as the skin were removed so I had to cut all fishing lines. I will re-tie with fresh line today evening, hopefuly this will be the last knot however the top part is going really slow – but it’s thick so new tighter knot and more time required. I was really close to cut remaining part with a knife but I will wait a couple of more days with the tie knot. In total it will be definetelly longer than a week, I’d say it will take total 2 weeks but I will see how it goes this time.
OK, I GOT RID OF MY FRENULUM!!!!!!!!
I tied a third time my frenulum, this time with just a nylon tie that I used to fix my jeans. I tied the frenulum 2-3x around, hold it firmly and then on top of that a knot just to keep everything with tension. There was 3,5 days and maybe some small progress but looking on my frenulum under the torch I noticed there are basically no veins going between that tied place.
And today evening I decided that I must do final move.
I prepared ice in form of flat level lump, disinfected sharp knife and put my penis on that flat ice just to make it numb. 20 minutes of convincing myself to cut frenulum and it was too hard for me. I launched some porn movie with hot girl teasing and I said to myself – OK she’s watching, I must do that. And then my brain activated that strange BDSM feel – DO IT DO IT! So I positioned the knife in the right place and pushed it to my tied frenulum. First attempt – NOTHING! Frenulum is really strong. But the second time I pressed so hard that the ice under penis started to crush and this time my frenulum decided to surrender. No pain, maybe because the ice made the job or maybe I felt I little bit of satisfaction. There were maybe 2 extra small blood drops and apart that nothing.

Hi again, another update.
After initial frenulum tie I decided to make another two with another one in mind. I reduced my frenulum basically to the very base of the penis, there is a remaining of frenulum which is maybe less than 1mm tall, so I doubt this can be torn during masturbation or sex.
My second cut was somehow painful, I did double loop and then 2 knots on top of that but the double loop splitted during the process and one went for knobhead, second for the oposite side and once it reached the vein, it was painful to touch, but when the vein mended it was OK. It took 11 days to get that done and the fishing line tied around frenulum gone during shower.
However it was still risky to leave it in that state as the rest of frenulum under was really thin.
So I decided – time for 3rd time! It was hard to select good place for a needle as there were many veins and I tried to avoid breaking them during my needle push. My mind could not accept the fact that I could break my own vein with a needle, that was the worst fear. But as before, the cut through was SO PLEASANT! It’s really exciting to push the needle through frenulum.
Third removal process took 15 days and at the begining I was sure I’m in trouble but after one week I noticed some progress and I found I can masturbate with that know without any problems as the knot is really deep.
Same as before, removing the vein was painful but after 2 days pain gone.
For last 2 days I noticed the big part of frenulum was removed and the knot was limited by a small amount of skin. i made 1 tie so far where the frenulum meets the glans and it worked pretty well but its not enough.
im struggling with the 2nd tie because the two big blue veins that run through the underside of the foreskin alongside the frenulum are too close to the surface of the frenulum (the part i want to tie). i cant even get a good view of them because its like they go invisible when i try to grab them lol and light doesn’t seem to do anything.

Well, I just did it! Going to use this thread as an unofficial report since not a lot of forums talking about it.
Got all the typical stuff + more. Numbing cream, got sterile sutures from Amazon (nylon single thread) – not for human use, wink wink, antibiotic cream, a whole bunch of sterile alcohol prep pads and went to town.
Here’s my process:
Numbing cream -> wait 15 mins -> no problemo.
Disinfect everything.
Double check where the veins are with a flashlight. (I did this probably at least 4 times over the last week to make sure they don’t move lol)
Suture needle was a bit too big. Super sharp so going through no problem, but had to push the skin through it as it was a bit big. No pain or blood though!
Pulled it all through, tied as tight as I could (pain, pain, and more pain). Not bad pain, but even with all of this still feel I might have tied it too loose. Used a surgeon’s knot + 4 regular knots on top of it with max tightness.
Added antibiotic cream on top just in case.
It’s been ~30 mins and there’s some minor pain from time to time – feels like it’s cutting through alr? Hoping it is tight enough, but also that it’s not TOO tight as that might be bad as well?
Will update when it falls out. I did the tie as close to the head as possible like 2-3? mm down the frenulum. Hard to tell, and if this goes well very likely will want to do another. Wanted to do this as a test one to see if:
1. It helps with the tightness (+ with premature ejaculation)
2. If it even works.
Didn’t see a point in doing a 5-7mm tie for my first one and waiting forever.

OK so it’s been 4 days and nothing has really changed.
First 24 hours or so there was a tiny bit of pain from time to time from the string shifting (cutting?) into the skin, but haven’t felt anything for the past 72 hours.
I’ve been Disinfecting and pulling a bit on the knot twice a day, but at this point I’m not even sure if it’s cutting in.
I don’t see anything from the top and the skin just looks normal. Possible I didn’t tie the tie strong enough, even though there was quite a bit of pain when I did it.
Will give it 2-3 more days and if nothing happens, untie this knot and retie another one.
I was expecting it to be done in like 2-3 days because it was such a small tie, but I guess the skin is tougher than I thought.
Quick update 5 days in. I finally see what people mean by the string “cutting” into the frenulum! At this point it looks almost like the string is fully absorbed into the skin so I expect it to fall out with the next couple of days.
Good confirmation that patience is key.
It’s been 13 days and it hasn’t fallen out yet. The string cut through most of the frenulum, and there was a tiny bit left for the past 4-5 days, but the knot was obviously too loose to cut through the last part.
Also started seeing some inflammation and pain under and above the string on the frenulum.
Untied all the knots today and tied it tighter. There was barely any skin left so it’s possible I could have just cut it, but decided to tighten it and give it a couple more days.
FYI, the first time I made like 5 knots above the first main knot and untying those took forever. This time I ended up only doing 2 knots so it will be easier to untie if I need to tighten it again.
If it doesn’t fall out by then might just cut it.
It fell out a day after I tightened it! Woke up and it was already out.
Realizing I didn’t pierce deep enough (I have a super tight frenulum), but will let this one heal (seems almost fully healed) and repeat a month or so from now with a deeper tie.
Crazy how easy this whole thing was!
Not quite sure where to do the next tie though. The first one I avoided all veins and if I want to go deeper on my next one it will end up going under a vein and I’ll end up tying it off which doesn’t seem right.

Just did another tie! This time went deeper and ended up going under one of the veins. Was hard to find a spot where there were no small capilaries, but was able to do it and there was no blood!
This one was a bit more painful for whatever reason so will see how long it takes. It’s deeper so I assume this will take a bit longer to cut through, but I tied it way tighter than last time and plan on tightening on day 4 if it’s too loose.
All done with second tie!
Lessons learned:
– Don’t use thread that’s too thin because if you don’t tie the original knot right enough untying it is imposible.
– Going under the vein was fine. A bit more pain than last time the last 3-4 days, but I think that’s because I cut the ends longer so they moved around when I moved more.
– Obvious, but the bigger the chunk of skin you’re taking the longer it will take. This time it took 2 weeks for it to cut through 99%, and as I struggle to untie the knots so I could tighten the main one I pulled it off.
Head still getting pulled down a bit much (I had a super tight frenulum) but this might be enough to minimize PE/really high sensitivity. There’s still enough skin to do one more tie and basically fully sever the frenulum, but I’ll hold off on that until this one heals and I see how it all feels, looks, etc.

Sounds strange that you got through one side and not the other. Both should happen pretty much simultaneously if you support the backside and push the needle between your fingers.
If you need more support you can try pushing some kind of tube, like an emptied out pen, against the backside..
So guys i today tied my own frenulum, i was mentally prepared , had 8-10 shots of vodka and used a very small and sharp needle with cotton thread, i boiled the thread and needle for disinfection, i pierced it into my easy spot, there was minimal to no pain, then i tied a surgeon’s knot, suprisingly there was no pain, and till now there is no pain, i am afraid i tied it loose,

Hey Guys, I tied my frenulum today, my previous comment did not go through so i am writing again, I used a sharp and small needle with cotton thread, I pierced it in my easy spot and it went fine, I tied a surgeon’s knot and it did not pain at all, i am afraid its too loose…. Its been 12 hours and all i feel is very weak tingling time to time, I will add a image , is it too loose?
Its been 5 days, and the string cut through the top of my skin, but the string is now cannot be tightned more, the string is now seems to be around a tendon, it hurts when i pull on it vertically, i don’t think it will cut through the tendon … what should i do? it hurts if i pull the string(vertically as it can’t be tightned anymore)… I was thinking to use a razor and do the job.. Please reply and advice. :”
I would never recommend straight up cutting it yourself, just be patient with it. Many people are reporting 14 days to cut through, I would not consider other options until then.
Yes , i think i will wait for at least 14 days mark.
Update: We got a breakthrough, Its the 5th day, today morning i was worried if i need to use a razor or not but the tightness i was feeling was of the hardest part of the frenulum, i don’t really know when it came off, but i think because was putting pressure on it subconsiously all the time, the result is so good, definitely recommended. Gonna do a 2nd tie when this one heals 🙂 , Thanks to this page to give me the courage.
